Frank's new band...SWAMP THANG!!

It's official!! Frank has a new band called SWAMP THANG! Featuring Frank on saxes and woodwinds, John Matthew Rosenberg on keyboards, Eric Jensen on electric guitar, Ken Rosser on electric guitar, Tommy Lockett on bass and Frank Briggs on drums, this band is out to have FUN!!

Imagine if you will Thelonius Monk, King Curtis, Captain Beefheart and Professor Longhair all getting together to play some crazy blues/funk/jazz with wild chromatic melodies. Add a dose of humor and a dollop of cajun seasoning and that's SWAMP THANG!!

Their debut show will be at Vitello's on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.  Show times are 8 and 9:30 PM.  It will also be a celebration of Frank's birthday, so come on out and have some fun with us!!
